    Transfer 20 minutes to the fabulous Bodega Baigorri in Samaniego.

    Guided visit, Tasting and Lunch at Bodega Baigorri in their superb restaurant with incredible views of the surrounding vineyards.

    Drive back through the vines to Haro for a chance to relax in the late afternoon, browse the shops, or sit in the main bustling square and enjoy a glass of Rioja.

    Tuesday 21st Haro Oilauri and Burgos

    Guided visit of the innovative Roda winery in Haro followed by a tasting of their wines and their prize-winning olive oils. Then, a short drive to the small village of Ollauri where we will have an extensive tasting before lunch at the Regalia de Ollauri winery.

    Non-Wine Aficionados
    1 hour transfer to the city of Burgos where we will have a guided visit of this fine example of a medieval town. The visit will include a tour of the Gothic cathedral, a UNESCO world heritage site, along with a visit of other important monuments such as the Cartuja de Miraflores and the Monastery of Las Huelgas.

    2:00 p.m.
    Wine Aficionados Lunch at Regalia de Ollauri winery. Non-Wine Aficionados Lunch at the elegant restaurant Casa Ojeda.
  • Afternoon
    Return to Haro for a chance to do some shopping, taste in some bodegas or sit in the square with a glass of cava and some raciones in a café.

    Dinner at Leisure. Lots of suggestions provided for all levels of restaurants.

    30 min. drive to the capital of La Rioja, Logroñ. Guided visit of the major sites of town — Fuente de la Gran Via, Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Redonda, Churches of San Bartolomé, Santiago and Palacio. Some time to shop along the Calle del Laurel.

    Return to Haro for some time to relax in your favorite café and get a headstart on the packing for tomorrow's departure.
