The Villagio Resort and Spa is one of the finest resorts in America. It truly is an escape to Tuscany in Napa—or as Wine Spectator calls it the “ideal pied–a–terre for anyone intent on exploring the glories of America’s preeminent wine region.”

The Dates, Fees and Housekeeping

“Hang Day”On Wednesday we will take a nice break (and give a gift to our livers) for shopping, spa-ing, cooking classes and/or doing nothing. Dinner is on your own this evening. I am working on a special Toby Tour for the hard core wine collectors with wine cellars like mine who want to taste and buy some of the REALLY hard to find (aka very expensive wine that ONLY a wine collector would be stupid enough to buy) that I will announce a bit later. There will be only room for 8-10 for this excursion -- if we have more than ten hard core wine fanatics who wish to do this with me we will have a lottery to choose the lucky few who will end this days thousands of dollars lighter in the wallet I assure you!

The Wine Buying Syndicate-Wholesale Prices on Wine
As a grower in the Valley, I get 10-20% grower discount on wine. We will extend this concession to you on ALL your purchases on the trip at EVERY winery venue we visit. We will also arrange for ALL your vino to be shipped back to home—no matter WHERE home is (i.e. Maryland or Florida). Our friends at Buffalo Shipping will pick up your treasures DAILY and pack them all up into a shipment for home. For many of you, the discount savings ALONE from this service will pay for your seminar fee.

The Fee: $5950 Couples $4750 singles all inclusive except for air fare, transportation to/from the Villagio Inn and Spa in Yountville, and dinner Wednesday evening.

To Reserve Your Spot in Paradise:
This is a very limited event as you can imagine. We have booked all the rooms at the Villagio we can. We can take up to 30 couples and 5 singles (or some mix thereof). We can take a FEW locals as well—talk to Marjorie about any available space.

We will maintain the intimate nature of this dream trip by breaking the non-dinner day experiences into small groups of 20-25 participants on one shuttle vehicle. Each day's adventures occur at 11:00/1:00 (including a fabulous Napa Valley lunch) and 3:00.

Each group will have the same experience each day—we will just mix the itineraries so each group has a personal visit with a small group of fellow wine and food lovers. When one group leaves, one of the other two groups arrives.

We need a $3000 deposit ASAP to hold your place for a couple—$2500 for a single.

Reservation deposits are first come first serve but must be in NO LATER than February 16th. We will start a waiting list as approximately 10-20% of deposited attendees seem to have life altering events come up that forces them to cancel—that's life.

Final payment due by March 15th.

If you cancel your reservation partial or full refunds are available of course but NONE after April 1st. If waiting list people can take your spot, we will return your complete deposit (minus an administrative usage fee on credit card transactions) If not, you lose.

In short, first come first served. Inner Circle members get a one-day head start on the deal as part of their customer service package—they pay for the privilege and it's only fair they get first shot. Alumni from past trips (that we LIKE—which so far has been everyone!) get second slot for registrations.
